    PREVALENCIA DE ERRORES REFRACTIVOS EN LOS ESTUDIANTES DE 5 A 12 AÑOS DE LA UNIDAD EDUCATIVA MATHIUS QUINTANILLA SIERRA, PORTOVIEJO

    The view, and therefore the vision, is considered one of the most important organs in the physical and cognitive development of a child, because, by means of the vision, they interact with the environment that surrounds them. A good vision is important for all people, in this work an approach is made to the visual system of children from 5 to 12 years since, in these, the development of the visual sense is still in process, therefore it is significant that they maintain a control of their vision, then, in these ages, when they are still developing, visual problems often become apparent. The research project aims to fulfill the stated objective that is to evaluate the prevalence of refractive errors in children from 5 to 12 years of the Educational Unit "Mathius Quintanilla Sierra" to determine refractive errors. A descriptive, cross-sectional study was carried out, hyperopes occurred in 58% of schoolchildren, 23% were Emétrope, 18 had astigmatism while only 1% had myopia. The behavior of the observed refractive defects confirms the international reports and figures that affirm that the most common refractive errors are, hyperopia, astigmatism and myopia.

    LOS TRASTORNOS DE LA DISORTOGRAFÍA EN EL APRENDIZAJE VIRTUAL DE LOS ESTUDIANTES DE 4TO AÑO DE LA UNIDAD EDUCATIVA FISCAL BABAHOYO DEL SITIO LA MOCORA, VÍA SANTA ANA DE LA PARROQUIA COLÓN.

    Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, education underwent a great change, and that is that the face-to-face modality was replaced by the virtual one to safeguard the health of all members of the educational communities. That is why the protagonists of the educational process had to adapt to this new modality. During the school year, teachers observed that a certain group of students had learning problems, which was related to grammar, that is, they suffered from dysorthography, which is the difficulty they have to understand spelling rules, which It causes mistakes in writing such as phoneme and grapheme confusion, literal problems, poor reading, omission of letters when writing, poor vocabulary and poor writing. Therefore, this research proposed as an objective: to implement a manual of didactic strategies that contributes to improving the virtual learning of 4th year students with dysorthographic disorders in the Babahoyo Fiscal Educational Unit of Sitio la Mocora, via Santa Ana de la parroquia Colon. The study was approached according to the inductive-deductive, descriptive, bibliographic and statistical descriptive methods. The techniques used were the survey made to the teachers, the observation made to the 4th year students and the interview used with the rector of the institution. The results show that virtual teaching modality disadvantages the work of teachers in the treatment of dysorthography disorder in students during classes.

    LOS RECURSOS DIDÁCTICOS VIRTUALES PARA PROMOVER EL PROCESO ENSEÑANZA-APRENDIZAJE DE LOS NIÑOS Y NIÑAS DE EDUCACIÓN SUBNIVEL II EN LA UNIDAD EDUCATIVA FISCAL “FRANCISCO PACHECO”.

    Children of Sublevel II not being in the company of their parents during virtual classes, and they are repeatedly distracted. Those distractions are also produced by the performance of teachers when they deal with certain topics that have a complex content and they don't look for strategies according to the needs. These factors have a direct influence in the performance of the protagonists of the educational process. In this way, the research has as purpose to design a virtual teaching material through the use of an infographic to promote the teaching-learning process in boys and girls of SUBLEVEL II of the Unidad Educative Fiscal Francisco Pacheco, this objective will be based on the innovation, updating and improvement of virtual teaching in initial education. The research was approached according to the inductive-deductive, descriptive, bibliographic and descriptive statistical methods, for this, the techniques of the observation carried out to the children, a survey developed by the teachers and an interview applied to the principal of the educational institution were used. The results show that children are easily distracted during virtual classes due to the methodology used by the teacher and distractions at home, that teachers don't use the right virtual resources to teach their classes and that the principal ignores the difficulties that exist in the educational process. Based on the results, the use of online infographics is proposed, being a resource that will allow teachers to explain various topics in a more didactic and innovative way and get the attention of students.

    ESTRATEGIA METODOLÓGICA PARA EL PROCESO DE APRENDIZAJE DE ESTUDIANTES CON SÍNDROME ASPERGER DEL NIVEL MEDIO DE EDUCACIÓN BÁSICA DE LA UNIDAD EDUCATIVA PARTICULAR RAFAELLO SANTI

    This research comes up from the increase of school children with Asperger's Syndrome in recent years, and the poor preparation of the teacher to face this problem. It also has a social value. The general objective is to design a methodological strategy for the learning development of Language and Literature Subject at the Middle Level of the students with Asperger Syndrome.It is vitally important to know this reality deeply, for this reason a qualitative approach is proposed. We worked with a student, a teacher and a mother and it was affirmed in two research instruments: observation and interview. For the theoretical foundation, we have as support the bibliographic and electronic references that served to support this report. In relation to the results obtained in the investigation, it was possible to infer that the educational agents of the establishment did not have the necessary knowledge to address the topic of students with AS, it is also determined that for a quality education the teacher must be in constant preparation, it is a challenge to welcome a student with Asperger's Syndrome. It is transcendental that strategies be proposed and allow enhancing their strengths and the learning of students with AS, which must go hand in hand with empathy and sensitivity. From this educational sphere it is pertinent to value their emotional character, language, artistic expression as a positive aspect of a person with special educational needs associated with disability.
