    The current study is oriented environment faced by workers Manabí Technical University, Based on this assessment procedure and diagnosis of the following jobs shown: Secretary, gardeners, teachers and drivers. It seeks to contribute to occupational health by preventing future illnesses, for it seeks to minimize the latent risks that workers are exposed and root causes. With this attempt to raise the living standards and worker satisfaction in the development of its activities, thereby increasing labor productivity. Being facilities or inadequate equipment and posturing forced one of the main causes of skeletal muscle disabling diseases in workers when performing their duties hampering their health, over time this leads to the suffering of diseases of muscle disorders - Skeleton cervical and sacral origin, dorsal, lumbar addition to damages on the wrists, neck, shoulders and arms. In the current research the main objective was to conduct an assessment of muscle disorders - skeletal ERIN using the method (individual risk assessment), for the prevention of disease in workers ergonomic Technical University of Manabí. This method is valid ergonomic and easy to use widely used in the country of Cuba where it originated. With this it seeks to raise a proposal to prevent musculoskeletal risks to strengthen job performance of workers of the Technical University of Manabí putting much emphasis on positions secretaries, gardeners, chauffeurs and teaching staff (office work) who meet with an optimal profile for the application of the method ERIN (Individual Assessment method). With that in this research it is to determine the real extent of the problem and intervene proactively pursuing the investigation of the risks in your workplace. To do field research and descriptive method developed under the data collection variables and characteristics of a population in conjunction with the following techniques were used: observation, survey, risk matrix. In the research sample we can conclude that at present employees of the Technical University of Manabí are at a higher level of risk of musculoskeletal disorders in the development of their business activities due to the realization of postures forced to different levels. Training and workshops ergonomic risk prevention -esqueléticos and muscle disorders including postural hygiene allow effective planning and adopt a variety of preventive measures that will prevent occupational disease occurs in xv compliance with the general purpose of preserving ergonomics health and welfare of man in relation to work and the surrounding environment.

    Análisis de agentes físicos y químicos para la elaboración de un plan de prevención de riesgos de higiene en el aserrío Pedro Baque de Portoviejo

    This thesis focuses on the analysis of physical and chemical agents at the Pedro Baque sawmill in Portoviejo, with the objective of developing a hygiene risk prevention plan. It was identified that workers are exposed to various risks, including wood dust inhalation and exposure to excessive noise, which can have detrimental effects on their health. A comprehensive assessment of the risks present in the sawmill was carried out, with a particular focus on noise and organic dust. The results of the noise and particulate matter measurements indicated high levels in several areas of the sawmill, underscoring the need to implement control measures to ensure a safe working environment. An occupational risk prevention plan was proposed that includes the adoption of corrective measures and the implementation of protective mechanisms. This plan will enable the company to improve the safety and health of workers and reduce exposure to the risks identified. Finally, recommendations were offered to improve workplace safety. These include monitoring the useful life of respiratory protection equipment and regularly inspecting this equipment to ensure that it is functioning properly. The implementation of these recommendations will contribute to a safer and healthier work environment at the Pedro Baque sawmill in Portoviejo.

    Análisis de la cadena de suministro circular del maracuyá (passiflora edulis l.) en la provincia de Manabí

    The value network is identified as a development strategy where processes and actors are integrated through the flow of materials, information and financial resources, through value networks that allow the cyclical use of resources in the principles of circular economy, which is identified in that a product sustains a value for a longer time in its positioning for the longest time and thus generate the least generation of waste, that the item has an adequate and sustainable development. Therefore, in this research, a methodology that was constituted in five phases was applied, whose purpose was to analyze the circular supply chain of passion fruit (Passiflora edulis L.) in the province of Manabí, which was characterized by determining the passion fruit value network in Manabí and to be able to give a circular economy approach. For this, the entire network was mapped, in which it was diagnosed and the circular economy approach was verified in it through checklists, which were related to the study variables. For this reason, as results, it was possible to show actors which were segmented into six stages. Where it could be established that the network registered a low level of development preceded likewise with a low circularity.

    Análisis de la economía circular en la cadena agroalimentaria del camarón en la provincia de Manabí.

    The objective of the research was to analyze the circular economy of the shrimp agrifood chain in the province of Manabí, for which field research was used, which consisted of collecting data directly from the investigated subjects, or from the reality where the events occur. facts. In addition, descriptive research was applied as it seeks to establish the structure or behavior of the elements that make up the circular economy and the shrimp agri-food chain; among other methods such as theoretical, empiricalanalytical, analysis-synthesis, inductive-deductive. The chain studied in this research is provincial whose mapping was carried out considering, as far as possible, the 22 cantons of Manabí through an interview guide that allowed to determine, characterize and describe it; of which the search for information was emphasized in the cantons that mostly cultivate shrimp with a total of 96 actors involved in shrimp activity. The techniques applied were: circular economy checklist, integration and level of development of the agri-food chain; interviews about the shrimp circular economy approach in Manabí; mapping of the shrimp agrifood chain in Manabí; documentary study on products derived from shrimp residues; and products derived from shrimp waste. As a result, it was obtained that in the circular economy indicator of the shrimp agrifood chain, its value was 2.75 (Table 27), which shows that shrimp has a low level of circular economy. Therefore, a manual was presented as a proposal, based on the bulletin published by the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce in Colombia, with the theme "Inventions made with shrimp by-products" both internationally and nationally with the registered trademarks of said products. processed products

    Análisis de la gestión del capital humano en los comedores del mercado central de la ciudad de Portoviejo- Manabí-Ecuador.

    The importance of this titling work which is entitled Analysis of the management of human capital in the dining rooms of the central market of the city of Portoviejo, which has as its main objective to present the analysis of the Management of human capital in the dining rooms of the market headquarters of the city of Portoviejo determining the standards of customer service. The methods to be used in this research are quantitative and deductive, for which the contribution of the workers of the central market of the city of Portoviejo and therefore the clients who usually arrive at the site were needed. Which through an investigative development of a certain population, two different surveys were applied, one for the workers with a total of 62 people and another for the clients with a sample of 118 people. The analysis of human capital was carried out from the categories of knowledge, level of customer service, work environment, performance in their activities and group work. Finally, a proposal was generated through the analysis which indicated certain problems that exist about the categories mentioned above, including the training of personnel that should be improved.

    Análisis de la integración de la cadena agroalimentaria del café arábigo en la provincia de Manabí

    The application of integration in supply chains is important since it allows the synchronization of the links and improvement in performance among its actors. This research has the main objective of analyzing the integration of the agri-food chain of Arabica coffee in the province of Manabí. A field investigation was carried out in the cantons of the province to identify as much as possible the majority of the actors present in the chain under study. Through a checklist, 67 actors were surveyed that will allow estimating the level of integration in the Arabica coffee chain, which resulted in a value of 2.45, which indicates that the coffee chain has a medium level of integration. Where an analysis of the results is carried out and a proposal is made with the necessary stages for the calculation of the availability of coffee in the market of the province of Manabí.

    Análisis de la red de valor circular de las industrias mineras en la provincia de Manabí

    A value network is composed of a number of actors with a specific purpose that records information between value chains to improve competitiveness in the market; that is why this research has as its main objective to analyze the circular value network of mining industries in the province of Manabí through diagnostic techniques. An investigation was made at the level of the province of Manabí, including mapping that allows us to identify the actors involved in the value network, in order to achieve the results we used a checklist that makes it possible to estimate the level of half of the value network that is 3,08 and the calculation of the indicator of circular economy that gave us a value of 3.05, indicating that they have levels in the value network circular also made a proposal of improvement actions based on the most vulnerable points evaluated during the application of the techniques. The circular economy applied to the value network is important for economic development by maintaining that the products at each stage of the chain can be reused, repaired and recycled, the improvement of processes especially in its producers the quarries either in an ecological way its application is to the benefit of the network.

    Análisis de la satisfacción de los clientes externos e internos en un restaurante tradicional manabita

    Quality analysis in a restaurant is essential to achieve excellent services and retain customers. The objective of this study was to analyze the satisfaction of external and internal customers in a restaurant located in the city of Chone, province of Manabí, Ecuador. The research was descriptive, non-experimental and correlational. The modified Servqual model was used, the survey corresponding to difference 5 was applied to 364 external clients, while difference 6 to the 5 direct care workers. An average perceived quality of 3.14 was found; The most affected dimensions being responsiveness and empathy, valued below expectations. The satisfaction of the workers in general showed an adequate behavior. Improvement actions were proposed focused on perfecting the service culture in employees, from training and coaching, so that they can better adjust to the needs of customers from their treatment and friendliness.

    Análisis de los factores psicosociales en los docentes y estudiantes de la carrera de ingeniería industrial en post pandemia

    Nowadays, the use of virtual media is key for student learning; therefore, the role of the teacher becomes a priority to achieve a meaningful, effective and quality learning process. The present research aims to determine the psychosocial factors through a quantitative and qualitative analysis in teachers and students during the post pandemic. In this context, the methodology used for this line of study were the inductive and deductive, so it is required first to contextualize the virtual work environment of teachers and students of the career to then specify the areas of the professional profile that affect or improve the psychological health of the subjects of study. Consequently, the results showed that the risk is high with respect to teachers' self-perceived health at 6%, since self-perceived health translates into how a person perceives and evaluates his or her own health, and it is also important because it has a significant impact on a person's physical and mental well-being. In conclusion, virtual teaching can present academic and pedagogical challenges, such as lack of face-to-face interaction between teacher and students, lack of motivation and discipline, and lack of access to technology and educational resources. In addition, there may also be problems in terms of feedback, personalized guidance, teamwork, access to the Internet and technology.

    Análisis de los riesgos mecánicos en el taller mecánico Tecnicentro Moran del cantón Portoviejo

    This thesis focuses on the analysis of mechanical risks in the Tecnicentro Moran mechanical workshop in the canton of Portoviejo. The study is based on the identification and management of these risks, with the main objective of safeguarding the physical integrity of the operational staff through the implementation of preventive actions. The legal framework of the research is based on several laws and regulations, including Decision 584 of the Andean Instrument of Occupational Safety and Health, the Labor Code, Executive Decree 2393, the IESS Regulation, Resolution 390, and the Constitution of the Republic of Ecuador. These laws and regulations establish the obligations of employers to ensure the safety and health of workers. It was observed that occupational accidents and diseases occur due to a lack of hygiene and safety measures. Workers do not have the necessary equipment to protect themselves during the performance of their daily tasks. This situation highlights the need to implement adequate safety measures in the workshop. Workers have a general lack of knowledge about occupational safety and health regulations. They do not wear appropriate clothing and do not have a comprehensive risk prevention plan. These factors negatively impact the work environment. It is essential that workers are well informed about occupational safety and health regulations and that they are provided with the necessary training to comply with these regulations. Finally, it is recommended to put into practice the Occupational Safety and Hygiene Program proposed in this thesis. This program should be evaluated and adjusted annually to adapt it to future needs or unforeseen events. The implementation of this program can help improve safety and health in the workplace, which in turn can contribute to productivity and worker well-being.

The idea of the business is to wash, disinfect, dry and take care of the quality of the garments received in the company and taking into account that dry clothes are more delicate than daily clothes and are done in water. It seeks to propose and implement the improvement of service quality in the market to improve the productivity, competitiveness and quality of the company's service. The market study is based on an analysis of the current sector, competitive sector and from this a market investigation will be carried out in which a main tool such as a survey and methods (sevqual) will be used, the aspects that should change will be identified. and implement the laundry service in order to meet the objectives of this business plan. The purpose of this Business Plan is to identify all the important aspects aimed at achieving the company's improvement in the high quality of the services provided, identifying the unmet needs of customers, a response aimed at providing added value based on conceptual change and identifying problems. possible solutions by developing different types of analysis.

    Análisis del enfoque de la economía circular en la cadena agroalimentaria del plátano en la provincia de Manabí.

    The circular economy is a practice that is gaining more and more strength among companies, as it optimizes the use of resources from the process and throughout the chain that conforms it. It is for this reason that this research is oriented to analyze the banana agro-food chain in the province of Manabí with a circular economy approach. For the diagnosis of the circular economy, a mapping of the study chain was determined where each link in the production of bananas was analyzed and from this a checklist was created to determine the most vulnerable points within the chain. All this allows to know the type of system that is implemented and which are the best points to change from a linear production to a circular production. The implementation of a circular production allows the economic, social and ecological development of a company and favors all the actors involved.

    Análisis del perfil profesional del ingeniero industrial en relación a las necesidades y expectativas del mercado laboral actual

    The following research project was carried out to analyze the professional profile of the person who obtain the degree of Industrial Engineer from The Technical University of Manabí and the relationship he has with the current labor market, for which a field study was conducted in order to gather information from both professionals who graduated from 2008, as well as from different companies in the industrial area of Manabí. This project consists of four chapters, in the first one it is evidenced the formulation of the statement of the problem, the background, as well as the limitations of this investigative report. Additionally, the Literature review is presented in the second chapter which consist of the basic concepts and bibliographical on which this report is based. The third chapter focuses on the methodology of how this report was conducted and its contribution on other research problems. Concluding with the fourth chapter, the intervention proposal is defined on a series of improvements, emphasizing that it is necessary the implementation of many strategies to enhance the industrial engineering career and the future of its graduates. Finally, it is important to mention that the present research was done thanks to the collaboration of some graduates as well as the participation of the Human Resources Managers from different companies that have contributed with the surveys and interviews through which it was possible to identify the needs of the labor market and the specific knowledge of the industrial engineer profile.

    Análisis del riesgo químico por material particulado en el proceso de molienda en la empresa Leopat

    This research is focused on a detailed analysis of the chemical risk associated with particulate matter in the grinding process carried out in the LEOPAT company, which specializes in the production and marketing of poultry inputs. The main purpose of this study is to comprehensively analyze the exposure of workers to such material during milling operations. In order to evaluate the company's conformity with environmental standards, the implementation of the UNE-EN 689:2019 standard was proposed as a fundamental tool, as well as the use of surveys that allow to know the company's situation. This methodological approach allowed a rigorous evaluation of the levels of particulate matter present in LEOPAT's work environment, comparing them with the established limit values. In addition, the research comprehensively addressed the various routes of exposure to particulate matter within the milling process. A detailed analysis of the frequency and duration of exposure was carried out in order to identify significant patterns and determine the possible correlation with the occurrence of health risks to workers. As an integral part of this study, specific control measures were proposed to help mitigate the risks associated with particulate matter in LEOPAT's work environment. These measures were designed to strengthen the safety and health of workers by effectively addressing the potential negative impacts resulting from continuous exposure to this chemical agent. It is anticipated that the implementation of these measures will not only meet regulatory standards, but will also result in the effective minimization of risks associated with particulate matter in the milling process.

    Análisis energético en el corte de rodajas de platano barraganetes según su ángulo, forma y disposición de las cuchillas.

    The development of the present titling work is an energy analysis in the cutting of Barraganetes banana slices, according to their angle, shape and arrangement of the blades. To do this we will develop a banana slicing machine that will consist of the following parts: slicing system, transmission system, power system, the purpose of the design and construction of the machine is to focus on improving the cutting process to optimize work times existing, which can increase productivity. To reflect the design of the machine, we will rely on solidworks software, which is a program for 3D mechanical design that allows us to obtain an overview of future visions. Later we will carry out the respective pertinent calculations on energy consumption. Once the calculations and the elaboration of the machine have been carried out, we will carry out the experimental tests with the banana cutting machine and the application of different blades with different cutting angles. The machine will make slices with a thickness of 2.5 mm, increasing the quantity and quality without leaving aside the safety part of the final product, satisfying the needs for which it was designed. In order to correctly analyze the use of the blades, their angle and their energy savings. Finally, we will be able to expose our experience at the time of carrying out the tests and give the respective conclusions and recommendations for the handling, use and correct application of the cutting blades. And also to be able to effectively capture the cutting efficiency and implement this machine in a company

    Análisis laboral en las diferentes áreas de salud del hospital general del IESS Manta frente a la pandemia del Covid 19, periodo de marzo a diciembre del 2020

    Since the pandemic began, health services have been collapsed, in the same way the personnel who work in the institutions have had a high demand for work and responsibilities, and even in certain cases there is a strong risk of contagion, that is For this reason, bosses have a great challenge and that is that they must seek strategies to strengthen the health system and protect their workers. For this study, 50 surveys were applied to the collaborators and an interview to 5 directors of the areas and sub-areas of the IESS General Manta Hospital in the city of Manta in order to collect the pertinent information. A theoretical investigation based on the bibliographic, statistical method was used to understand the obtained values as a percentage, the deductive one for the respective compilation of theory related to the problem under study, the analyticalsynthetic method for a better understanding of the information obtained. In this sense, it is also important to highlight that the authors set the objective of determining the health areas and sub-areas of the IESS General Manta Hospital that have had the highest number of absenteeism in their workers. From this it is considered that the investigation will be of great importance because it will be possible to have an approach towards the reality of the health area in moments of health emergency and especially it will be possible to know about the measures that have been taken in the institution to safeguard the well-being of all the staff.

    Actualmente frente a las necesidades de formar académicos con un gran nivel de conocimiento se presenta el aprendizaje, que supone una constante evolución en las maneras de pensar, sentir y actuar interactuando adecuadamente con los recursos educativos a su alcance. El trabajo que se propone realizar se enfocará en la aplicación de una matriz electrónica para el cálculo de intervalos óptimos para el mantenimiento de los equipos del laboratorio de operaciones unitarias de la carrera de Ingeniería Industrial de la Universidad Técnica de Manabí. Dicha matriz controla registra y archiva los intervalos de tiempo para los mantenimientos que se deben ejecutar para las máquinas que se encuentran en el laboratorio de operaciones unitarias, y a su vez facilitara un mejor desempeño del personal administrativo encargado. El marco lógico enfoca la matriz de involucrados, el árbol de problemas, el árbol de objetivos, el árbol de alternativas y la matriz de marco lógico. Esta investigación está estructurada por dos partes: Una parte teórica producto de la investigación bibliográfica e internet y la otra la parte práctica obtenida mediante la aplicación de instrumentos de recolección de datos, lo que permitió organizar un construido teórico- práctico coherente. En conclusión la creación de la matriz obtiene éxito en el control que ejecutan los estudiantes en cada mantenimiento realizado, dejando atrás el esquema tradicional facilitando un banco de información de manera rápida y eficaz para la organización.
