(Universidad Técnica de Manabí, 2021) Chinga García, Jean Carlos ; Loor Ostaiza, Kelvin Junior ; " " ; " "
Motor skills are necessary and fundamental activities for the full development of the human being, therefore it is through the body and the movement that is applied that a full relationship with the environment is reached, the present research keeps the purpose of specifying the physical activities based on the development of motor skills in the children at Alejandro Bermúdez Farías school. Objective: To deseign physical exercises in the development of psychomotor skills of third-year students at Alejandro Bermúdez Farias school, in Rocafuerte canton. Methods: The study design was descriptive, cross-sectional, with a mixed approach (qualitative and quantitative). It was carried out with the participation of 21 children who correspond to the third grade in the institution, the sample was obtained through the simple random method including data collection techniques such as a teacher survey and the adaptation of the motor skills test under the study of authors such as Berges-Lezine, Ruiz, (1991), Brunett (1980), Arce and Rivera, Cordero, (1988), They have a relative relevance to be taken and adapted in this environment limited by the COVID 19 pandemic. Results: The findings indicate that there is a minimal, but important consideration based on skills not adequately developed in third-grade children, furthermore, it is evidenced that there was an improvement in reflexes for some of the motor skills. Conclusions: With the implementation of the tests (pre-test and post-test), an improvement was achieved with respect to motor skills, where it is stated that the main reason is not to include physical activities oriented to the skills described as there are no teachers for that specific area of the institution.

(Universidad técnica de Manabí, 2021) Zambrano Safadi, Estefanía Salome ; Velez Solorzano, Jefferson Josué ; Enríquez Caro, Lázaro Clodoaldo
The health of the human being and physical exercise are closely related, this point should mean an important guide in the elderly, due to the recurrence of osteoarticular injuries to which they are most prone. The present investigative work has the purpose of elaborating a program of physical-recreational activities to promote the prevention of osteoarticular injuries in the elderly in the Guillermina Loor Gerontological Center of Portoviejo city. The research maintains a mixed approach, is oriented on the experiences of the participants and their level of satisfaction with the program of activities, the study is longitudinal and field. The used instruments include validated tests such as the Tinetti and Flexitest scale that allowed to know the initial state of the physical condition of the elderly, these tests assess strength, flexibility, and mobility, the questionnaire was also included in the model of an interview with the directors of the center gerontological. The results of the tests revealed the condition of the participants as well as the most recurrent osteoarticular injuries. These inputs were used to develop a plan of activities aimed especially at preventing this type of injury in a sector of the population that is still underserved. The physical and recreational activities plan was submitted to the evaluation of the experts who agreed on its relevance to be applied when sanitary conditions allow it, in perspective, it was known that elderly people perform some unsystematic physical activities and are not directed to the prevention of osteoarticular injuries
