ItemPROGRAMA MOTIVACIONAL PARA MEJORAR LAS CLASES DE EDUCACIÓN FÍSICA EN LOS ESTUDIANTES DE SEXTO AÑO DE EDUCACIÓN BÁSICA DE LA UNIDAD EDUCATIVA FEDERICO BRAVO BASURTO(Universidad Técnica de Manabí, 2022) VERGARA BERMELLO, ANDREINA YOMIRA ; AGUILAR MOROCHO, ELVA KATHERINECurrently there are high levels of sedentary lifestyle in children and adolescents due to the increase in digital leisure, generating a deficient interest in physical activities, therefore, the purpose of this study is to select strategies for the development of a motivational program that allows the improvement of the teaching-learning process of the subject of physical education. For the development of the research, the quantitative and descriptive methodology was used, a survey was applied to university students, and the descriptive type because the cause of the problem is analyzed in detail. As a result, it was obtained that the strategies with the highest score are to encourage teamwork, promote the importance of effort and personal improvement, enhance capacities, include rules for everyone to participate, recognize individual progress, and develop innovative activities. develop cognitive and creative styles, explain the didactic objectives, give the possibility of choice, and include participatory styles, encourage interaction in the group, and avoid rivalry and develop self-control, develop empathy between the teacher and the student, perceive the problems by the students go through, and promote resilience to overcome problems. It is concluded that the motivational program must consist of strategies that seek the motivation of the students, must be directed to the psychological needs in four aspects such as competence, autonomy, relationship between students, and teacher-student relationship
