This research took place in the Public Educational School in 24 de Mayo canton, in the 2020 period, participated the institution's authority, the math teacher, parents and students, the variables were strategies mathematics and division learning. Its purpose was to carry out an investigation about how mathematical strategies improve the learning of the division in the students of the institution. It was necessary to know the level of mastery that students have regarding the learning of the division and to investigate the mathematical strategies used by teachers. The research was approached according to the type of bibliographic, field and statistical study, whose population was composed of 59 people, comprised of: 1 math teacher, 29 parents and 29 students, of which 100 % was taken as a sample of its totality. The methods used were inductive-deductive and descriptive. Among the techniques used were the observation sheet, the interview with the teacher of mathematics and the survey of parents. Finally, to solve the problem, an intervention proposal was made to improve it.
