This study is based on the need that currently exists in Basic General Education to seek alternatives that allow the continuous improvement of the training process, specifically with regard to learning environments. The objective of the work was aimed at developing a didactic strategy for the improvement of the learning environments of the sixth grade students of the Daniel Villacreses Aguilar Basic General School in the city of Portoviejo. The research was framed within the quantum-qualitative approach, techniques such as observation, survey, interview and documentary inquiry were applied, as well as instruments such as field diary, questionnaires. Among the main results is the limited use by teachers of simple, practical and fun teaching strategies that promote and strengthen the comprehensive learning of students and thus the continuous improvement of motivation and academic performance.
