It is possible to believe that only women may develop breast cancer, in fact, as all humans have woven breast, men also can suffer from this disease, as the cancer grows, symptoms may include: breast lump or lumps in the armpit that are hard, has uneven edges, and usually does not hurt. Change in the size, shape or texture of the breast or nipple. It may for example be redness, holes or puckering that looks like orange peel. Secretion of fluid from the nipple, which may be bloody, clear to yellowish or greenish, and look like pus.Most cases of advanced breast cancer is more than 50-year-old women. Women are 100 times more likely to develop breast cancer as men. Nutrition plays an important role in cancer patients since most of them do not cover all the nutritional requirements, the reversibility of the clinical, metabolic and nutritional side effects to the local and systemic effects of the tumor will depend on clinical and dietary treatment that is provided to the patient. Diet is an important part of cancer treatment. Consumption of the right types of foods before, during and after treatment can help the patient feel better and keep their strength. In order to ensure adequate nutrition, the individual should eat and drink enough foods that contain essential nutrients (vitamins, minerals, proteins, carbohydrates, fats and water). However, for many patients, some side effects of cancer and its treatments hamper adequate food intake.
