ItemLA INTEGRACIÓN FAMILIAR EN LA ESCUELA Y SU REPERCUSIÓN EN EL RENDIMIENTO ACADÉMICO DE LOS ESTUDIANTES DE LA UNIDAD EDUCATIVA FISCAL “LA PILA” DEL CANTÓN MONTECRISTI, PERIODO 2017-2018(Universidad Técnica de Manabí, 2018) LÒPEZ BARTOLOMÈ, JESSICA MARIANA ; ZAMBRANO MACÌAS, JAHAIRA MONCERRATE ; BARZAGA SABLÓN, OSCARThis research took place in the Public Educational Unit “La Pila” in Montecristi canton, in the 2017-2018 period. Where it was possible to identify a scanty integration of the family in the school activities carried out by the institution and difficulties in the academic performance of students, denoting a lack of family commitment of these towards their children. In relation to the exposed, in this work participated the institution authorities, as well as teachers, parents and students. The variables were the family integration in the school along with the academic skills grade. Its purpose consisted in the research of the effects that family integration has in the school, for the improvement of the academic skills of the students. Thus, the study was justified because it was possible to raise awareness among parents about how important it is to participate actively in all school activities. The research followed the descriptive and bibliographical methodologies, its universe was formed by 26 teachers and 420 parents, as well as 596 students; the sample taken from it was of 26 teachers, 127 parents and 127 students. The applied techniques were the observation and the poll for these samples. Finally, the data processing allowed to conclude that the family integration in the school, does have incidence in the academic improvement of the students, and that parents have a slight participation in the family integration activities that the institution portrays. Afterwards, lineaments about the importance of the family integration in the school along with the academic skills improvement to parents were given via community workshops.
