These variables will condition the academic performance and, therefore, determine the success or failure of the student's school. Thus, at present, it is inevitable not to recognize the importance of the role of the family in the development process, both personal and academic, of the students. For this reason, many authors emphasize the emotional, motivating and support role that parents exercise over their children and that it has repercussions on the student's psychological variables, which are so decisive for their academic performance. However, despite recognizing the importance of parents in the performance and academic development of children, and existing studies in this regard, it may be interesting to know what specific family aspects are really affecting the school results of the children. students and how they do it. For all this, the present work aims to analyze the perception that children have about the various aspects of the family environment that may affect their academic performance and what consequences they have on their results, which may determine their success or failure at school. In the development of the work, emphasis is placed on the methodology applied in the research, specifying the methodological approach, detailing the people involved in the research, as well as the instruments used in data collection and the efficiency of evident data to solve the problem. . It is necessary to emphasize that with the execution of this research it was possible to demonstrate that the family environment has a decisive influence on the students' school performance. The results obtained from the research process allowed to demonstrate the veracity of the scope of the objectives and hypotheses that were addressed to the topic to be investigated.
