Environmental training contributes to shaping the personality of the individual in favor of environmental protection, through didactic strategies that interrelate teachers, parents of families and students, establishing elementary notions of the care of nature from home and subsequent support of the school, ministries and governmental and non-governmental organizations. Hence the relevance of deepening this problem, given that in the María Piedad Castillo De Levi Educational Unit of the Paján Canton there are pedagogical deficiencies in relation to environmental training, therefore, the educational context in which the students develop is not in correspondence with the environmental needs of today's society. Likewise, the objective of the study consisted in the design of a manual with didactic strategies as pedagogical actions for the environmental training of the students. The research was approached according to the inductive-deductive, historical-logical, analytical-synthetic, observation and descriptive statistical methods. The techniques used were observation, student survey and interview with teachers of the institution. Finally, to solve the problem, a proposal was made that helped to solve the problem.
