ItemINFLUENCIA DEL ESTADO NUTRICIONAL SOBRE EL RENDIMIENTO FÍSICO DE LOS INTEGRANTES DEL EQUIPO MANTA FUTBOL CLUB CATEGORÍA B, MANABÍ(Universidad Técnica de manabí, 2019) DELGADO MENDOZA, ANNIE JULISA ; ZAMBRANO ZAMBRANO, JHONNY JAVIER ; ARENCIBIA, RICARDOSports nutrition should be considered as an essential part of the recovery process focused on preserving the general state of health of the athlete. The objective of this study was to evaluate the influence of nutritional status on the physical performance of the members of the Manta Fútbol Club category B team, Manabí. It is an explanatory - correlational study of transversal type, with measurement of 22 male soccer players aged between 17 and 19 belonging to the sub 18, body composition was assessed by anthropometric measurements and the Faulkner equation and physical performance. by the Cooper test. The following results were obtained which were presented in mean and standard deviation, the age of the Manta Futbol Club sub 18 team was 17.4 (± 0.49) years, the size represented 1.71 m (± 0, 06), body weight was found in 64.3kg (± 4.6). The BMI was 21.8 kg / m2 (± 1.83), body fat was represented by 10.7% (± 1.23), the percentage of fat-free mass reported 89.24% (± 1.23). According to the physiological test assessing the maximum volume of oxygen, the average presented by the players is 49.6 (ml / kg / min) (± 0.05). With the results obtained, a negative correlation between the anthropometric variables and the physiological test of maximum oxygen consumption was demonstrated, since the higher the percentage of body fat and BMI, the lower the oxygen consumption of the players and the lower their aerobic resistance, this He showed that anthropometric variables are an important factor in the sports physical performance of the Manta Futbol Club sub 18.
