    VALORACIÓN DEL FUNCIONAMIENTO FAMILIAR EN HOGARES CON ADOLESCENTES EMBARAZADAS. CENTRO DE SALUD PICOAZÁ. PORTOVIEJO

    Among the risk factors for pregnancy during adolescence, family conflicts are considered, such as family disintegration, lack of affection on the part of the parents and inadequate family communication. A descriptive, retrospective and cross-sectional study was carried out, with the aim of assessing family functioning in homes with pregnant adolescents that belong to the Picoazá Health Center, Portoviejo, working with 19 families with pregnant adolescents, using theoretical level methods: historical -logical, inductive-deductive, hypothetical-deductive and analytical-synthetic, the structured survey and the FF-SIL family functioning perception test were applied prior to informed consent to the population under study, which served to obtain the necessary information and arrive to conclusions. The main results were: 47% (9) families are made up of 4 to 6 members, the composition according to integration with 53% being nuclear and medium, 52% receiving less than 100 USD, 64% are dysfunctional families this group within medium and large. It is concluded that the applied instruments allowed to characterize the socio-demographic families according to the number of members and family composition, in addition it was possible to know the per capita of each of its members, the perception test of family functioning applied to the studied sample allowed to evaluate the families studied and classify them as functional, moderately functional, dysfunctional and severely dysfunctional.

    VALORACIÓN DEL ESTADO NUTRICIONAL EN NIÑOS DE 5 A 10 AÑOS, COMUNIDAD VIRGEN DE MONSERRATE, CRUCITA

    Nutrition is the relationship established between food consumption and the body's dietary needs. Proper nutrition is essential for good health. The objective of this research was to assess the nutritional status of children from 5 to 10 years old who live in the Virgen de Monserrate community, Crucita during the period from November to December 2019, taking into account anthropometric indicators of weight / height and BMI of the children participating in the research according to sex and age, socioeconomic factors and food foods associated with nutritional status according to BMI. For them, a descriptive cross- sectional study was carried out. The universe was represented by 107 children between 5 and 10 years old. The sample was obtained through an intentional type sampling, consisting of 73 children. The results obtained reveal that according to the weight / age relationship, both girls and boys have a normal assessment with 31.50% and 41.09% respectively, with ages between 5-6 years 11 months and 29 days being the most representative in girls and boys between 7-8 years, 11 months 29 days. BMI therefore it was found that 36.98% of the girls had a normal nutritional assessment and 38.35% of the oys in the same way. The socioeconomic factor studied could show that they all act on the nutritional status of the boys and girls studied, as well as food.

    VALORACIÓN DE LA HUMANIZACIÓN DEL CUIDADO ENFERMERO SEGÚN PERCEPCIÓN DE PACIENTES CON COVID-19, HOSPITAL GENERAL DE CHONE

    The humanization of care refers to the comprehensive approach to each patient where biological, psychological, social and behavioral dimensions interact. Non-experimental descriptive research was carried out in order to assess the humanization of nursing care, according to the perception of patients with COVID-19 who were admitted to the General Hospital of Chone during the months of January to April 2021. From a universe of 149 patients were selected, through simple random sampling, 35%, represented by 53 patients, to whom a survey was applied to collect sociodemographic information and the instrument "Perception of Behaviors of Humanized Nursing Care to assess the humanization of care. The results show that the predominant age is between 46 and 60 years (64.1%), 74% female. 62.2% remained hospitalized for more than 10 days, 54.7% have secondary school level and 33.9% primary, 67.9% consider that the humanization of care in the category of nursing work qualities is regular, 54.7% that the category open to nurse-patient communication is bad and 43.3% that it is regular, in the category provision for care, 73.5% consider it regular as well as the general perception of care. It is concluded that the application of the instrument of Perception of Behaviors of Humanized Nursing Care (PCHE) allowed to identify that there is a regular perception of these patients in relation to the care provided by the nursing staff o that hospital.

    VALORACIÓN DE CONOCIMIENTO SOBRE LAS INFECCIONES DE TRANSMISIÓN SEXUAL EN ADOLESCENTES. CENTRO DE SALUD CHONE

    Sexually transmitted infections are a national and global public health problem, especially in adolescence due to situations that put their health at risk. In order to assess the knowledge about sexually transmitted infections in adolescents at the Chone Health Center, the present work of curricular integration was carried out, which constituted a descriptive, cross-sectional investigation. The universe was made up of 8334 adolescents who attend the Chone Health Center. The sample consisted of the total number of adolescents who answered the survey, reaching 134, representing 40% of the representative sample. The instrument used was a survey created by the author Rojas Teses Anthony, from the research "Level of knowledge in Transmitted Infections sexual intercourse in fourth and fifth year high school students from three educational institutions in a district with a high incidence of STI-Chiclayo 2018 ”. The results were obtained in terms of sociodemographic characteristics, the ages of 17-19 years have a High 10 level of knowledge (24.6%), the completed elementary school and high school both fluctuated the same level of High knowledge (15.6%), and the age of initiation of sexual relations reached a high level of knowledge in the ages of 18-19 years (24.6%). The level of knowledge about sexually transmitted infections in adolescents aged 10-19 years was high (51.4%). The main sources for obtaining information were provided by health personnel with 50%.

    VALORACIÓN DE CONOCIMIENTO SOBRE LACTANCIA MATERNA EN MUJERES EN EDAD FÉRTIL CENTRO DE SALUD MEJÍA, PORTOVIEJO

    Breastfeeding is a biological process in which an emotional bond between mother and child is created, this being one of the most important feedings during the child's development. Colostrum provides immunological protection that allows you to acquire defense against different diseases; such as obesity or malnutrition, leukemia, necrotizing enterocolitis, celiac diseases, as well as the reduction of presenting attention deficit and intellectual anomalies. In this research, carried out on women of childbearing age at the Mejía health center in the city of Portoviejo, with the data obtained from this study, it was found that there is still a lack of knowledge regarding the benefits of the first food of extra-uterine life, breastfeeding, the interval for breastfeeding and the appropriate age for respectful weaning; the main causes are popular customs and beliefs and the failure of the state to provide such information in a timely and accessible manner.
