Abstract
El trabajo de titulación tenía como objetivo general caracterizar la inteligencia
emocional para un excelente desempeño de la secretaria ejecutiva en la Universidad Técnica
de Manabí, tema que permitió conocer cómo se desempeñan en su lugar de trabajo, y poder
observar de manera directa la forma en la que ellas se desenvuelven y actúan ante las
situaciones que se le presenten en su área de trabajo.
La metodología que se utilizó en el presente trabajo de investigación, fue la
Diagnóstica-Participativa en un grupo específico: secretarias, estudiantes y jefes
departamentales de la Universidad Técnica de Manabí, para identificar el grado de
inteligencia emocional alcanzada hasta ese momento con su formación académica.
El análisis e interpretación de los resultados se elaboró mediante tablas y gráficos
estadísticos, los resultados proporcionaron datos relevantes de la problemática investigada,
que junto con la teoría permitió presentar las conclusiones y recomendaciones inherentes a
esta temática, así como la presentación de una propuesta de capacitación.
Description
The following graduation that has as general objective to characterize the emotional
intelligence for an excellent performance of the executive secretary in the Technical
University of Manabí, subject that allowed to know how the secretaries work in their place
of work, and to be able to observe In a direct way how they develop and act againts the
situations presented to them in their area of work.
The methodology used in the present study was Diagnostics-Participatory in a
specific group: secretaries, students and departmental heads of the Technical University of
Manabí, to identify the degree of emotional intelligence achieved with their academic
training.
The analysis and interpretation of the results was elaborated through tables and
graphs, the results yielded relevant data related to the investigation, which based on the
theory analysed allowed to present conclusions and recommendations about the studied
subject, in addition to the proposal of tutorials and training.
