Recreational physical exercise is all that regular and systematic practice of physical activity that results in the improvement of mental, physical and motor fitness. It has the ability to directly reduce the risk factors of chronic diseases and catalyze positive changes with respect to other risk factors for these diseases. Before starting a physical exercise program, you should know what the objective is, the selection of the exercises will be sequential and programmed so that the performer is safe. The elderly, is a passive being that is leading over the years a series of motor difficulties and depending on their relatives, today with the practice of physical activity can leave behind several of his physical ailments. The following research project aims to promote health and quality of life through the regular practice of physical and recreational programs in older adults by applying a weekly recreational physical exercise plan in order to improve health and prevent multifactorial diseases.
