    Usabilidad de los servicios digitales en la biblioteca Pedro Elio Cevallos de la ciudad de Portoviejo

    The advantages offered by digital services to access a large amount of information have been part of the different companies in order to strengthen the processes for the management of data and information for communication. The new legal policies guarantee the importance of access to the Web sites and their use according to the services they provide or have been created. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the use of digital services in the "Pedro Elio Cevallos" Library in the city of Portoviejo. For this purpose, a descriptive and retrospective study was carried out with a bibliographic approach, using methods of analysis and synthesis. For its development, the guide ISO 9241-11 and ISO / TS 1607 were taken into account, which indicates that it can be used in the acquisition, design, development, evaluation and communication of usability information. The population for the study was made up of 300 users who regularly go to use the digital services offered by the “Pedro Elio Cevallos” Library of the city of Portoviejo, obtaining a sample of 168 people to survey, in a simple random way. For the collection of information, the survey and interview techniques were used, obtaining as a relevant result that the users go to the library to make inquiries of interest, highlighting those of technological type and games with Scratch applications.
