PERÍODO 2012 - 2015(Universidad Técnica de Manabí, 2016) MOLINA ARTEAGA, PEDRO FERMIN ; MACIAS CEVALLOS, GEMA MERCEDES ; GILER, WILMERThe research entitled "sardine fishing on the high seas and their impact on job creation of the inhabitants of the Las Gilces crucita parish community of Canton Portoviejo. period 2012 - 2015 "was executed in the parish of the canton Portoviejo Crucita, counting with the opinions of people knowledgeable in this subject and particularly those who are involved in the activity of sea fishing and evisceration of sardines. The structuring of it synthesizes the following: summary; introduction; planning problem, background; justification; problem formulation; general and specific purpose; literature review and development of the theoretical framework, which deepens related to referential theoretical and conceptual framework; then display the scope of the study, scenario development and definition of variables described; development of research design; definition and selection of the sample; data collection; analysis of data; interpretation of results; and preparation of report results. The objective set for the present research work was: "To determine the incidence of sardine fishing offshore employment generation of the inhabitants of the Las Gilces parish community of Canton Portoviejo Crucita. Period 2012-2015 ". quantitative to explain the fundamental relationships of the variables under study (sardine fishing activity on the high seas - - Job creation in the inhabitants of the community's Gilces) This requires a qualitative approach was used. We worked with a sample of 87 people who are part of this community and engaged in eviscerating sardines.
