IMPACTO DEL CONSUMO DE SUSTANCIAS PSICOTRÓPICAS EN LAS RELACIONES INTERPERSONALES DE LOS ADOLESCENTES

The consumption of psychotropic substances in adolescents, both legal and illegal, has become a serious public health problem, since it is very present in our society, thus generating negative consequences not only in the individual space of the user, but also at the level family, being adolescence one of the most vulnerable stages due to the identity of formation in the personal development of young people. For this reason, the authors were interested in this topic with the main objective of analyzing the impact of the consumption of psychotropic substances on the interpersonal relationships of adolescents in the inhabitants of Calle 10 de Agosto of the Cdla Fátima in the city of Portoviejo. To carry out such work, the methodology was applied with a quantitative approach, and the data from the surveys were interpreted; in order to know the results according to the manipulation carried out in each session. It was concluded that adolescents are one of the most vulnerable groups to drug use, and to the high consequences that these substances cause in a person and how they affect physical, emotional and psychological health, which through this study we were able to observe directly the presence of these risk factors with regard to drug use.
