    The aim of this project was to improve pig production processes to increase profit margins on small farmers Santa Rosa site of the Parish Community of San Pedro de Sum of Canton El Carmen in the period 2013. To carry out the project were prioritized problems in the estates of the site, achieving coordinate, organize, plan and implement actions needed to improve in a participatory manner. Through proper coordination was possible to work with the production parameters , involving the community in each of the stages of improvement, allowing greatly improve the unfolding swine production area , as they improved management processes food technologist , genetics and reproduction through training smallholders Santa Rosa site site of the Parish Community of San Pedro de Sum of Canton El Carmen . The research work yielded as conclusions: the producers are motivated because the implementation of the acquired knowledge allows them to be more efficient in swine production processes , demonstrating that it has strengthened the quality and conversion, which significantly increases the quality improvement of lives of small producers.

    To make that the project realizes were multiple investigations in order to determine the priorities of the institution, this could be performed through methods and techniques used by researchers and for university community helping to find the various problems that the Faculty has in sanitary processes in the Animal Production Units; the objective of this project was to improve the sanitary processes in animal production units of Zootechnical Science Faculty of Technical University of Manabí and so provide a quality education that will benefit the farming community of cantón and students such the theoretical and in practice conditions. The research was important because it allowed to plan and implement new sanitary processes that help to improve the animal production units of Zootechnical Science Faculty; the development of the thesis helped that the animal production units have better sanitary measures to propound standards rules and train to the university community about these.

    This project was developed in the San Pedro de Suma parish the El Carmen city at Hacienda “Las Tres Marias “belonging to Mr. Medardo Antonio Loor Zambrano. It was hold in the months of June and July 2013, with the objective to train chicken farmers of the San Pedro de Suma parish on systems handling broiler production, using the following techniques: matrix involved, problems tree, objectives tree, alternative tree, logical framework matrix. We used tools such as surveys that were addressed to the habitants of the parish already mentioned, in which it was identified that there are several problems in the methods used for breeding of broilers. The main reason for these inadequate breeding methods was because chicken farmers didn’t know a proper way of managing livestock systems broilers, for that reason, taking into account the background above was necessary to contribute to training in what are broilers concerns that promotes knowledge of those involved in this type of activity. Specific objectives were found, being success Training dictated to farmers, which from now on will be able to apply the techniques and methods learned during the development of the thesis work.

    The present graduation work in the Modality Community Work, was carried out in the Ability of Sciences Zootécnicas of the Technical University of Manabí, in the area of Animal Production, with the participation of the four egresados of the Ability, to improve the productive processes, being made trainings to improve the processes in bovine of it puts on weight, those that were managed to the university and external community. The university community adopted these practices since they are based in technical of first level, which contributes to the execution of the institutional mission of the Ability; in a same way the qualified external community evidenced a receptive attitude toward the processes, showing its bias to use them.

    SUMMARY The thesis was conducted in order to establish a successful training in the management of grassland systems with the Association of Agricultural Producers " Santa Rosa Community " of the Parish of San Pedro de Suma of Canton El Carmen , we used the method of action linking participatory and community integration of the members of the Association of Agricultural Producers " Santa Rosa 's Community " , who were the direct beneficiaries for the proper management of grassland systems , obtaining as conclusions that producers lacked Association knowledge of new techniques to efficiently and effectively transfer the management of grassland systems , demonstrating that not using grass cutting , much less silage for livestock provide food in times of scarcity , it was found that poor management training grasslands producers had impacted on virtually no fertilization activities were held in the paddocks and when they did mostly used in chemical fertilizers , the pasture production for many years had been making empirically , without any technical management , dominated pasture crops ¸ Savoy without imposing new grazing systems in producing them for higher performance in livestock feed due to poor knowledge on the subject , because the community were trained on handling grassland systems , analyzing new processes for better quality and optimum performance.

    SUMMARY This project was developed at the San Augustine site, December 4 parish belonging to the El Carmen city in the Property of Mrs Mariana Benalcázar Carranza , it was conducted in the months of June and July 2013 , having as a general objective the capacitation of the producers San Augustine site about the receiving processes and control of raw milk hygiene, the following techniques were used: matrix involved, problem tree , objective tree, alternative tree, logical framework matrix . We used tools such as surveys that were directed to the population of San Augustine site, which it was identified that there are several problems in the methods used by cattle producers to obtain milk. The main reason about these methods they are inadequate because the producers do not know a proper way to milk and store the raw milk, for that reason, taking into account the background above, it was necessary to contribute to the training of hygiene and sanitation of raw milk that promotes the knowledge of who are involved in this type of business. Specific objectives were reached, being a success the Training to cattle milk farmers which from now on will be able to apply the Good Management Practices (GMP) in performing daily milking.

From twenty-first century political, economic, social, cultural and technological changes have been around the world in the development of new projects, new ideas that capture the mind of man. This work is focused on the needs in Technical University of Manabí, Zootechnical Sciences Faculty. According to the requirements found in the student community according to the respective diagnosis provided about what is a computer system for the faculty’s library, students, librarians and other relevant authorities. Surveys applied to the students by the graduates of the Technical University of Manabí, encouraged the basic knowledge in the students on the management and use of the Zootechnical Sciences Faculty’s library. Therefore, in the following pages reflect the results gotten of this activity which contributed much to the development in researching growth of students.

    SUMMARY The aim of the thesis was to establish adequate training on the technical management of dairy cattle to farmers Rocket Site of St. Peter 's Parish Sum of Canton El Carmen, for this is prioritized existing problems on the site , achieving reach specific tasks of the community integration revealing new techniques in the management of dairy cattle production through training on the management of production , encouraging the area's management processes weaning and breeding calves , with the intention of improving animal performance , allowing farmers to contribute to the development of the productive processes , directly benefiting farmers and indirectly to the researchers of the project with the community of the site , for the development of the thesis was used in the thesis was used participatory Action method to investigate the reality detecting problems in the farming community , planning and executing actions directed to improvements in participatory way. like work conclusions improvement was obtained with adequate training on the technical management of dairy cattle to farmers Rocket Site which helped him learn new techniques in dairy cattle production , strengthening the quality of life of producers also showed that the improvement made has strengthened the cattle producing milk , feeling motivated by the improvements implemented , this allowed them to be more efficient in the proper handling with expertise in livestock production

    The goal of this project is to improve food processes to increase production parameters in the facultad de Ciencias Zootécnicas de la Universidad Técnica de Manabí while improving the quality of education with practical tools to facilite their studies. To carry out the project settled existing priorities within the Facultad were established methods and tecniques involving the university community to detect the various problems that exist in the institution, and be able to plan and execute actions as necesary to improve participatory. Through proper coordination was possible to work with the production parameters, involving the educational community in each of the stages of improvement. The development of the project greately improved unwrapping cattle production area; since processes were improved livestock feeding and achieved technify and train faculty and students oustside the school community. The project was important because it introduced new processes cattle feed as the cornerstone to archivie efficiency, effectiveness and economy of resources that manage the different areas of the Facultad.

    The graduation work called "Installing a System Silvopastoril Facilities Faculty of Zootechnical Science of the Technical University of Manabi Extension Chone " was presented in the form of Community Development in order to implement a system Silvopastoril Faculty of Science Zootechnical Technical University of Manabi to provide cattle feed and restore the environment by planting trees, which was conducted in three stages: analyze the efficiency of the silvopastoril system in cattle feed in the nutrition field, planting fodder trees in the grounds of the college, and fed to livestock in the University Community Spread the Silvopastoril system, achieving improved food supply as well as provide a high quality forage rich in protein for subsistence and commercial production of livestock, and also giving fodder trees foliage during dry periods when they are not herbaceous species was incorporated. For which the inductive action research methodology was used.

    The completion of the community developed was execute on the premises of the Zootechnical Science Faculty Chone , it was carried during the months of December 2013 to February 2014 , having as a main objective to improve the milking processes by implementing a mechanized system to optimize resources and increase the milk quantity and quality at the Zootechnical Science Faculty Chone, handing down training, workshops and fieldwork by the authors project for making a correct milking of the milk, being involved students of the Zootechnical Engineering career; were used the following techniques: involved matrix, problems tree , objectives tree, alternative Tree , Matrix logical framework to determine one of the needs of the Faculty was used as a tool for the implementation of the survey that was aimed at students of the Zootechnical Engineering career, in which it was identified that there was mismanagement in the process of milking , which was improved with the acquisition of a milking machine . All specific objectives were accomplished, being successful training given to students who will be able to apply what they learn to enhance your professional profile, in addition to new research.

    SUMMARY The aim of this work is: "Strengthening the processes of production of small animals in the Faculty of Zootechnical Science, Technical University of Manabi Chone Extension" which its foundation is in action research as the basis of community work, all once a series of research in accordance with the results obtained were applied, which were: Put cages with feeders and automatic waterers in the area of the cunicula days of Zootechnical Science faculty. Designing a Manual Process for managing a farm dog days at the Faculty of Animal Husbandry Sciences.     SUMMARY This community service was held in the premises of the Faculty of Zootechnical Science extension Chone , was held in the months of December 2013 to February 2014 , aiming to improve the process control biosecurity of cattle production in the Faculty , , through training in health and welfare to improve the professional profile of the race Zootécnica Engineering measures the following techniques are used : Matrix involved, tree problems , tree objectives , Tree of alternatives, logical framework matrix , using as tools the survey was aimed at students career Zootécnica Engineering and nearby farmers in the area , in which it was identified that there are several problems with the methods used in the Faculty and some farmers to give good biosecurity to cattle . The housing system of cattle thus providing safety and animal welfare was improved. Specific objectives were met , being a successful training given to students and farmers which from now on will be able to apply what they learned .

    SUMMARY The library should be a dependency or support with the most advanced technologies, with specific research functions , and collaboration, the use of books allows teachers to raise teaching updating theoretical, practical and research knowledge with students ; is why new updated in the Library of the Faculty of Zootechnical Science , Chone extension , thus fulfilling one of the main requirements that the Faculty had bibliography was implemented. The community project was conducted in the months of July to September 2014 ; using participatory assessment methodology ; a survey as a primary source which was aimed at students of Engineering in Agricultural Industries was performed ; in which it resulted that 80 % of students and the general public do not go to the library by the small number of current books . New updated to the library of the Faculty of Zootechnical Science , Chone extension , with 43 books fully updated with the teaching-learning process is enhanced bibliographic material increased.
