Abstract
SUMMARY
The library should be a dependency or support with the most advanced technologies,
with specific research functions , and collaboration, the use of books allows teachers
to raise teaching updating theoretical, practical and research knowledge with students
; is why new updated in the Library of the Faculty of Zootechnical Science , Chone
extension , thus fulfilling one of the main requirements that the Faculty had
bibliography was implemented. The community project was conducted in the months
of July to September 2014 ; using participatory assessment methodology ; a survey
as a primary source which was aimed at students of Engineering in Agricultural
Industries was performed ; in which it resulted that 80 % of students and the general
public do not go to the library by the small number of current books . New updated
to the library of the Faculty of Zootechnical Science , Chone extension , with 43
books fully updated with the teaching-learning process is enhanced bibliographic
material increased.

RESUMEN
La Biblioteca debe ser una dependencia o apoyo con las más avanzadas tecnologías,
con funciones concretas de investigación, y colaboración, la utilización de libros
permite a los docentes elevar el nivel de enseñanza por la actualización de
conocimientos teóricos, prácticos e investigativos con los estudiantes; es por eso que
se implementó nuevo material bibliográfico actualizado en la Biblioteca de la
Facultad de Ciencias Zootécnicas, extensión Chone, cumpliendo así una de las
principales necesidades que tenía la Facultad. El proyecto comunitario se realizó en
los meses de julio a septiembre del 2014; utilizando la metodología de diagnóstico
participativo; se realizó una encuesta como fuente primaria la cual estuvo dirigida a
los estudiantes de la carrera de Ingeniería en Industrias Agropecuarias; en la que se
obtuvo como resultado que el 80 % de los estudiantes y público en general no acude
a la biblioteca por el escaso número de libros actualizados. Se incrementó nuevo
material bibliográfico actualizado a la biblioteca de la Facultad de Ciencias
Zootécnicas, extensión Chone, con 43 libros totalmente actualizados con lo que se
mejora el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje
