    This work responds to the need to enhance sports skills in boys and girls. Based mainly on generating a proposal that contributes to the sports development of boys and girls, for this reason in this research we set ourselves the objective: Design a pedagogical proposal that contributes to the development of sports skills in boys and girls from 6 to 11 years of the Simón Bolívar Educational Unit of Portoviejo; to achieve this goal the institution; allowed to know the problem: Lack of physical sports activities of Physical Education for the sports development of boys and girls from 6 to 11 years old. The present investigation of exploratory-descriptive type, the inductive, deductive, analytical and statistical mathematical methods were used, the information was made through a questionnaire, the population is constituted by 122 children with a random sample of a participation of 86 children, corresponding to 70% of the results The findings found through different instruments, survey interviews showed that it is necessary to propose physical-sports activities to enhance school sports development in boys and girls from 6 to 11 years of the Simón Educational Unit Bolivar of Portoviejo; The proposal is made up of 4 phases: Initial phase, middle phase, final phase and the evaluation of the proposal, as Conclusions: The exposed data allowed to know the needs of adopting proposals for school sports development in children of 6-11 years of this age. institution from physical education.
