The library management model has evolved significantly, giving a qualitative leap in terms of its
concept, context, coverage and offer of services, which creates a co-responsibility to train its users to
be in line with this dynamic. The main objective of this research is conceptually the process of
production of audiovisual content as a means for the training of users of the university library, starting
from a diagnosis of the main training needs. Documentary analysis is proposed to theorize the
variables, a survey is applied to a significant sample of users of the Alejandro Muñoz Dávila Library
of the Technical University of Manabí, considering the model of user training services of the CRAI
of the University of Barcelona. Based on the results, an audiovisual production proposal will be
structured to progressively develop informational and infocommunication skills in its users.
