Escuela de Bibliotecologia y Ciencias de la Información., 2017-10) AGUIRRE GARCIA, JONATHAN MANUEL ; MORALES INTRIAGO, JUAN CARLOSSystematization is a permanent and cumulative process of knowledge creation based on experiences based on a social, labor or educational reality, where it is recorded in an orderly way, what is desired to be shared with others, with an emphasis on the identification of Lessons learned in this experience. For this reason, the objective of this study was to analyze the technical processes in the Central Library Dr. Alejandro Muñoz Dávila of the Technical University of Manabí. The paper presents information of the librarians focused on the systematization of the technical processes of the information and through which it is tried to raise the knowledge and abilities related to this sphere. The research is developed through qualitative methodology supported by the explanatory method and logical history. A design was made that contemplates two stages: In the first one the bibliographic material was revised to argue the theoretical bases of the present study, considering the method of the documentary analysis. In the second, the technique of content analysis was used to systematize the technical processes that are carried out. Among the results are the development and improvement of technical processes, services and management achieved in the library. The conclusions emphasize the need to improve the systematization of the technical processes that allow the librarian to take a better control of the activities carried out, which guided the realization of an information product that guides the management of library services to the users.
