Abstract

In any type of construction it is essential to have pleasant environments around the work, one of them is to have roads and curbs in good condition which are works of great importance for society, walking along a route without dust or stones shows a captivating atmosphere , and also presents a good aesthetic to all who walk through this sector.

The study that was carried out in the design of the road and curbs is a type of civil construction that provides community service to everyone who travels this route. These roads and curbs basically meet the requirements of habitability, alignment, durability and economy.

The design of the road and curbs included: a layout of the land for leveling it, calculation of the necessary slope for the proper runoff of rainwater, taking into account the quality of the concrete, in this case simple concrete, taking into account the aesthetics of the curbs, also consider the level to build said curbs, among others. Knowing these data, a correct sizing of the road and access curbs to the general library of the Manabi Technical University was achieved.
