Estudio sobre la influencia de la distancia al borde de los vehìculos pesados en el estado tensional producido en pavimentos de hormigón en las vías de ingreso a la ciudad de portoviejo

Abstract

The current research, titled: “STUDY ON THE INFLUENCE OF” THE DISTANCE TO THE EDGE OF HEAVY VEHICLES “IN THE TENSIONAL STATE PRODUCED IN CONCRETE FLOORS IN THE ENTRANCE ROUTES TO PORTOVIEJO CITY”. It refers to traffic of heavy vehicles in the entrance routes to Portoviejo city such as (Manta – Portoviejo; Crucita – Portoviejo; San Plácido – Portoviejo, y Santa Ana – Portoviejo). In this research work, the distances from the outside of the heavy vehicle tires to the edge of the road will be measured, through a statistical processing, the characteristic distance for a given probability will be determined. The tensions produced by traffic are those involved in the design of concrete slabs, considering that the higher tensions are produced in the edge of the slabs. However, at the edges of the slabs, the highest probability in the circulation of the vehicles is not experienced.
