Abstract

The teaching-learning processes do not only comprise theoretical or practical cognitive topics, because this process includes the environment in which the student receives the class and suitable places of leisure that allow the students to socialize, to carry out activities autonomously And have rest areas. That is why the Technical University of Manabí, within its operational plans involves projects with areas that complement architectural programs incorporated in the institution. In addition to providing entertainment venues, this contributes to improving the infrastructure of the alma mater, with areas that improve the quality of learning. This type of project is aimed at complementing the methodology applied in the learning process, rationalizing the use of educational spaces that benefit the university community in general. This implies that all the enclosures and interior or exterior spaces of the establishment must fulfill a function that supports the educational process that the University projects. Ecological bars are a good alternative for students to carry out their academic activities enjoying the nature that surrounds them, taking into account that in order to build it is necessary to establish norms and standards that assure the quality of the same, pretending that the new projects that Are tendered and comply with these studies.
