LA COMPRENSIÓN LECTORA EN EL APRENDIZAJE DE LOS NIÑOS Y NIÑAS DE EDUCACIÓN BÁSICA, DE LA ESCUELA PARTICULAR BÁSICA AMIGOS Y GARABATOS, CANTÓN PORTOVIEJO

Abstract

The principal focus of this research was the relationship between Reading comprehension and students learning. This topic is important because of the pedagogical impact in the teachinglearning process, and also allowed its approach in the educational context. In this case, considering that in the educational system there is not an adequate learning and there are a lot of limitations that do not allow the correct process of the Reading comprehension, such as the use of Reading like an habit, the lack of Reading comprehension in the teachers, the lack of methodology to increase this skill and the lack of participation of parents in the development of goal of their children,of the teachers, was proposed like an objective, in this work, to create and develop a didactic manual to improve Reading comprehension into the students of the Particular Basic School Amigos y Garabatos of the Portoviejo Canton in order to increase to this process through strategies and technics to allow the teachers work the Reading comprehension with their students uisng this like a successful resourse in learning– teaching process. As part of this work, were used theoretical and empiric methods to analize the real data collected in the instruments and the need for Reading. The results of this research gave the possibility to observ and verify the students and teacher level related to Reading comprehension.
