Abstract

This research refers to the application of didactic strategies based on the use of technological tools for learning; taking into account that, due to the health emergency in recent years, education has undergone important changes that require the use of technology; so that it is necessary to use them to guarantee student learning. The objective of the study was to analyze the application of didactic strategies for the use of ICT tools in the learning of the Social Studies area of the fifth year students of the Ernesto Vera Cedeño Fiscal School. The applied methodology allowed supporting each criterion issued through documentary and field research, since surveys were applied to the teaching staff and students in order to generate results according to reality, therefore, its design was not experimental, which means that it was presented the data without being manipulated. Among the main findings, the problem could be verified, due to the lack of didactic strategies that motivate the use of technological tools and based on this, significant learning is obtained, for which it is concluded to implement as a solution to it, a guide on the design of didactic strategies with the use of technological tools that serve the teaching staff to guarantee the learning of the Social Studies subject in fifth-year basic students.
