ESTRÉS EN FUNCIONARIOS DEL SISTEMA PENITENCIARIO QUE LABORAN EN EL CENTRO DE REHABILITACIÓN SOCIAL “EL RODEO”

Abstract

Stress is defined as a set of physiological reactions that occur when the individual suffers a state of nervous tension product of various situations, it occurs when the demand of the environment is excessive or rigorous before the adaptability of the human being, likewise the reaction influences response. The present research work aims to characterize stress is officials within the prison system at the Social Rehabilitation Center ―El Rodeo‖ in the city of Portoviejo, applying the inductive-deductive method through the application of techniques such as structured interview and psychometric tests, obtaining valid information to achieve the objectives set. The result shows that staying in a more complex work environment in constant adaptability and vulnerable to the safety and mental health of the official directly affects the emotional, psychological and physical situation of the individual, causing a type of aggravating stress, for which it was considered necessary act on psychological intervention strategies in favor of the human contingent of the CRS ―El Rodeo‖, with the purpose of strengthening and guaranteeing the work environment.
