VIGILANCIA Y SEGURIDAD ALIMENTARIA DEL MERCADO MUNICIPAL N° 1 DEL CANTÓN PORTOVIEJO, MARZO-AGOSTO 2014

Abstract

The present investigative work corresponds to a study of descriptive type, the information was obtained during the months between March and August of the 2014, with a sample of 50 users and 50 retailers who daily go to the Market Clay pit N° 1 of the city of Portoviejo, for which was used a simple random method. To each one of the investigated ones a structured survey was applied to them previously in which questions related to monitoring and nourishing security within the Market consisted. Once made the investigatory process it was possible as much to be verified the lack of culture in knowledge of nourishing hygiene of users as of consumers and the general ignorance of norms INEN established for this effect, as well as of the urgent necessity of the intervention of authorities to improve the infrastructure of the agreed Market with one with the rules implanted for its operation and necessity of qualifications for retailers in addition to the continuous monitored of the ones in charge of the monitoring and control of the nourishing security.
