Abstract

The main objective of this degree project with a community development modality was to provide technical advice for the implementation of roofing, Water supply network and a security control system in the beekeeping area for the Experimental Center 1 of the Faculty of Veterinary Sciences. For the development of this thesis work was done by purchasing implements such as a 4 SRm13G/10-Stone Submersible Pump1HP which helps to bring the vital liquid to a reserve tank located in the experimental center in order to provide this liquid to insects, an efficient stainless roof with sturdy bases that will provide protection from rain and sun even from local predators and a video surveillance camera system that will provide day and night security in order to prevent hive thefts and honey production, All this is intended to ensure the welfare of these insects from the apiculture experimental centre. In addition, this area will be adapted to the practices and various research projects and benefit for the university student community of the career and in the future take advantage of the products obtained and link with society. Community work lasted 4 months with a value of $8000. First, an observation was made of the place where the work was intended to be carried out in order to recognize the shortcomings and to be able to guide the work personnel. The work was given on June 30, 2021, which brings with it a great academic contribution to the faculty of veterinary medicine, because it will be possible to carry out internships, pre-professional practices and various research studies. It is recommended that all systems implemented at the site be maintained, because climatic conditions and neglect of these can lead to deterioration of such facilities.
