Abstract

The present work was executed by means of the modality of Community work in the Department of Animal Production of the Faculty of Veterinary Sciences of the Technical University of Manabí. The main objective was the application of a system of forage transport (funicular) in the Area of Grass King - grass of the Department of Animal Production of the Faculty of a group of having involved. The approximate cost of the present community work ascends to the quantity of $5.284,125 Together with the educational authorities and an egresados group took the decision of to design and to build this forage system, due to diverse factors that it hindered to transfer the forage from the production area until the prink, among these factors were: that in many occasions it is not had the agricultural machinery or it was not feasible its use due to personnel's lack for its conduction, lacks of fuel to more than that its use damages the new grass buds King - grass. Another factor was the faulty number of personal, mainly the weekend when he/she didn't have the machinery and the transfer of the forage was manual. Once finished the construction of the funicular one you proceeded to the I grease of the rail for the step of the pulleys with their respective layettes. Was it also endowed of ropes that were good to tie the forage baskets, avoiding their fall and in other cases to connect the layettes, some to other allowing this way to a single employee to transfer three layettes meetings.
