It was obtained that vaginal candidiasis presented at the ages of 26 to 30 years (27%), urban area (67.6%) and the internal risk factor that predominated was pregnancy (36.9%), the type of yeast of the genus Candida that was most frequently isolated was C. albicans in 2017 with (83.0%). It was found that vulvovaginal candidiasis is very common in our environment, risk factors are a key point for the onset of pathology, and it is important for timely diagnosis by laboratory tests.
