This project was a work in the parish lodana canton Santa Ana whose main objective was to establish a grazing area in the new premises of the Faculty of Veterinary Science, for which we proceeded to clean the area to be planted with a tractor type D4 and then proceed with the preparation of the soil in which involved two agricultural tractors which had two different functions toward each plow effect and the other the process of rotation of the earth. Subsequently, the type of grass seed was selected in which the Mombaza (Panicum maximum) grass this is a genetically enhanced with very good strength and adaptability for pasture area and can support up to six months of drought, and with very good characteristics were determined nutritional exceeding other grasses used in the environment. The extent of the total area of grazing implemented was 4 hectares located between flat and semi-flat surface. Which they were fenced and marked using stakes guachapelí (Albizzia guachapele) with strings of barbed wire, fencing using a conventional 4-string high.
