    La planificación estratégica del gad municipal de Portoviejo en concordancia con el plan nacional de desarrollo, periodo 2014-2015

    The Cantonal Development Plan which is in force in Portoviejo is the Development Plan and Territorial Ordering of Canton Portoviejo which was released by Municipal GAD the month of December of 2011, this was planned with a fairly broad horizon as it was presented with projection 2012 to 2026, the plan was implemented from 2012 until 2015 because the new municipal administration who joined the council in the period from 2014 to 2017 introduced a new Cantonal Development Plan which was prepared by a specialized consultant in mid-2015, the new development plan recently began to socialize with political and social groups from 2016. Strategic Planning of Municipal GAD Portoviejo which is submitted to revision is presented in the Development Plan and Territorial Ordering of Canton Portoviejo the period 2012 - 2015, for the purpose of reviewing the consistency of this plan compared with the National Plan of Good Living from 2013-2017. The National Plan for Good Living recognizes municipal GAD as agents of social, economic and productive transformation and propose to ensure the efficient management of all strategic sectors, so that the projects proposed by the municipal strategic planning align these premises. Strategic Projects of the Municipal GAD Portoviejo in the period 2014-2015 are integrated into 2 general programs: "Extending the cantonal labor market" and "Strengthening the cantonal economic activity" in both recovery projects and promotion of stand agricultural, commercial and productive sector impetus to the industrialization of the agricultural sector. Meanwhile the strategic objectives of the National Plan for Good Living are organized in three axes; "Changing power relations in the construction of popular power" "Rights and Freedoms Capacity for Good Living" and "Economic and Productive Transformation from the change of the productive matrix"
