PERIODO 2005-2007(Universidad Técnica de Manabí, 2008) BALLESTEROS VALDEZ, MARÍA ELEN ; BRAVO BRAVO, HELEN MARIANA ; CEDEÑO AGUAYO, NILOThe external trade, every day he/she becomes more complex for their modernization process, levels of competitiveness and the economic and financial tendency actions of the diverse existent commercial groups in each country that you/they are the organizers of the commercial exchange. The Ecuador for its situation and geographical location, presents a capable climate for all type of agricultural cultivation in its areas geographical coast, mountain and east. Allowing that their external trade has relationships with more than 35% of the countries. For tradition the Ecuadorian economy, it has been sustained by the exports of agricultural producers, having the coffee, cocoa, banana tree, raft, fruits and other their peak or time of peacefulness. With regard to the cocoa, the Ecuador has had important commercial spaces at international level, being this very favorite product for the consumers at world level for its aroma, quality and presentation, with this reality and preference the county of Manabí and the canton Bolivar, they are attended of economic, financial form and technique by several private institutions whose objective is to institutionalize the production and the external market, to establish parameters of stability in the farmers and with it to improve its prices and production, reaching better revenues and certainly a worthier level of life based on the exploitation of its productive floor. The Corporation Strength of the Valley, located in the canton Bolivar has been able to formalize activities of a lot of importance in the environment of improvement of cultivations, control of plagues, rising of crops of cocoa and mainly in the drying to obtain a product of high commercial quality of international level. Those producing of cocoa of the canton Bolivar, in general don't have big extensions, but rather they are forks of small cultivations being considered to the same ones as minifundistas or farmers of cocoa with a régime of economy of subsistence. The study spreads to the description of the production, commercialization of the cocoa for the external market, interpreting the action propositiva of its socio/economic incidence in the producers, under the direct action of the Corporation “Strength of the Valley” during the years 2005-2007.
