ItemFACTORES DE RIESGO ASOCIADOS A LA PREECLAMPSIA EN GESTANTES DEL CENTRO DE SALUD PORTOVIEJO(Universidad Técnica de Manabí, 2020) ALMACHE CEDEÑO, ELSY VIVIANA ; QUEZADA MONTALVÁN, MARÍA JOSÉ ; SCOTT ÁLAVA, MAGALYThe objective of this study was to analyze the most frequent risk factors associated with preeclampsia in pregnant women treated at the Portoviejo Health Center in the period January - December 2020, considering that preeclampsia is a health condition that occurs on a large scale globally and one of the main causes of complications and death of pregnant women in different developing countries of Latin America. A descriptive, retrospective and cross-sectional study was carried out. The universe consisted of 16 pregnant women diagnosed with preeclampsia and we worked with the entire universe. The documentary analysis technique was used by reviewing the medical records of the pregnant women and a data record sheet was used as an instrument. The risk factors in the appearance of the same were obtained as results, they have been determined as pathological and sociodemographic risk factors, the age with the highest prevalence was between the age group of 26 to 29 years (62.6%), 70% belonged to the origin of rural area, within the personal history with the highest incidence was hypertension with 43.75% and previous preeclampsia with 31.25%, it was found that 50% are primiparous, of the 16 pregnant women diagnosed with preeclampsia, in the majority it was observed that 68.75% originated in the 20th to 26th week of gestation, with a nutritional status of the body mass index greater than 30 corresponding to 50%.
