LA PROTECCIÓN DEL MEDIO AMBIENTE COMO EJE TRANSVERSAL EN El APRENDIZAJE DE LOS ESTUDIANTES DE EDUCACIÓN BÁSICA SUPERIOR DE LA UNIDAD EDUCATIVA PARTICULAR CRUZ DEL NORTE, PORTOVIEJO.

Abstract

The present research work was carried out in the Particular Educational Unit Cruz del Norte, in the canton of Portoviejo, during the period 2018, in which teachers and the authority of the institution participated; the variables were Protection of the Environment as a transversal axis and the learning. Its purpose was to conduct research on the importance of integrating environmental protection into the learning. For this, it was necessary to identify and investigate how often teachers plan their classes taking as a priority the care and preservation of the environment. Therefore, the study is justified because it has theoretical knowledge, social relevance and the benefits it generates for the entire educational community. The investigation was approached according to the type of bibliographic and field study, whose population was composed of 60 people, including: students, the educational authority and 9 teachers. The methods used in the investigation were inductive-deductive and descriptive. The technique used was the survey applied to teachers and authority. Finally, the data processing allowed to conclude: The protection of the environment is a permanent process, in which individuals and the population in general become aware of their environment and acquire the knowledge, values, skills, experience and will they will allow acting, individually and collectively, to solve current and future problems of the environment. With the objective of demonstrating that the protection of the environment from significantly affects the leanirng development and training process of children.
