Abstract

The purpose of this research work is to develop change management strategies for business digital transformation and how it affects the development of EDZACE home improvement stores in the city of Portoviejo. The research study according to its function is theoretical, field, applied and descriptive, by means of which it will allow to observe the internal functioning of the hardware store in order to find strategies that can be used in the general problem. The techniques used are observation, questionnaire and interview for a correct analysis and collection of information. The population and the sample consisted of 7 people, made up of employees of the hardware store, between administrative staff and vendors, who were given their respective survey; In turn, an interview was applied to the manager of the hardware store to investigate and learn more about the current situation of the company. The main results showed that the EDZACE home improvement stores must carry out a change management strategy and be able to carry out a digital transformation for all hardware store personnel. Because it was concluded that the EDZACE home improvement stores handles obsolete processes that prevent proper business development This is why it is recommended to develop change management strategies where new opportunities for income generation can be discovered and time can be saved by automating processes.
