Plan de manejo ambiental en la construccion del edificio de la biblioteca general de la Universidad Tecnica de Manabi del canton Portoviejo

Abstract

With the purpose of contributing to the academic program called “design and construction of the General Library of the Technical University of Manabí”, the thesis entitled “ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT PLAN IN THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE BUILDING OF THE GENERAL LIBRARY OF THE TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY OF MANABÍ DEL CANTON PORTOVIEJO”, which was fundamentally based on the identification of the main sources of environmental impact that occurred during the execution of the work, to achieve the stated objective. During the construction of the library, a general observation was made, in whose environmental evaluation it will be possible to verify whether there are positive or negative impacts. It is expected that the useful area of ​​the General Library will be 1800 m2, and that it may have the necessary infrastructure to accommodate more than 600 students with all the necessary academic services. In this project, the objectives are detailed first, then the theoretical support is shown, the result of an extensive compilation of bibliographic information, essential for the total understanding of the thesis topic, then the execution of the project, which consists of the analyzes that are carried out. has been carried out during the construction of the building, then the methodology and surveys directed to students of different careers at the Technical University of Manabí about the construction of the library are described. Finally, as part of the proposal, an environmental management plan is given, which consists of prevention and mitigation measures for the tasks proposed during construction. The completion of this proposal allowed conclusions and recommendations to be made, thus establishing the results of the research, providing suggestions for the constructions that the university wishes to implement in the future.
