Abstract

The main objective of this investigative work is to identify the workload and anxiety levels presented by the personnel who work at the Ebenezer Center for the Development of Children and Adolescents in the El Florón sector of the city of Portoviejo, through the implementation of instruments such as the survey and taking Beck's anxiety test as a reference, in order to investigate the levels of anxiety experienced by the workers chosen as the population for this research. Despite the fact that contexts and societies are constantly advancing, issues related to mental health are still highly mythologized in some settings. The work scenario is not evasive to this reality, and at present it is common to find consequences such as psychological, emotional or social alterations, derived from the workload, thus influencing the origin of symptoms or pathologies that affect the lives of Workers. These mental health issues are of great importance in our current context since companies, organizations, entities or authorities do not always give due importance to taking care of the mental health of their workers, thus generating pleasant, correct and effective.
