Propuesta para la implementación de un programa de residuos sólidos generados en el terminal portuario de la Ciudad de Manta

Abstract

The present investigation was carried out experimentally in the Port Terminal of the City of Manta in the Province of Manabí, the objective of this investigation is to establish a solid waste program, this will be executed with the purpose of contributing with an adequate management of the waste that prioritizes, manages, identifies, separates, controls them. In this study, the quantitative methodology of a bibliographical nature is used, when carried out with a scientific and social approach, on the other hand, a survey focused on the specific objectives applied to 25 workers in the waste and waste area in the port was carried out, this with the in order to analyze the situation to solve the solid waste generated on this site, since it can cause serious contamination if the correct protocol is not followed. The results obtained in this investigation mention that there is little knowledge about the current laws of solid waste by the work staff, as well as a concern about not knowing if they are being executed correctly. From this, a solid waste proposal is proposed, which can be used in order to mitigate the impact caused by this waste in the port, this alternative seeks to improve the environment of the port and reinforce the areas that have not been attended.
