Abstract

This degree thesis entitled "rehabilitation of the laboratories of the institute of basic sciences of the technical university of Manabi, phase 1", was prepared in order to restore the already built structure taking into account the necessary aspects to guarantee safety and quality. in the designed structure. The structure of the laboratories of the Institute of Basic Sciences was analyzed by applying the calculation of admissible forces, based on the design criteria and recommendations established in the design codes. This document is organized into important parts such as the introduction where the project is generally detailed and some basic concepts for the advancement of this work are described, materials and methods in which the process that was followed to execute the structural design of the project is detailed. the laboratories of the institute of basic sciences, results where specified in the plans of the structure, also parameters used for the analysis and finally conclusions and recommendations. The application of calculation techniques linked to the field of civil engineering facilitated the process, but the resolutions made as part of the final design are those of the authors.
