dc.description La investigación tiene como objetivo evaluar la calidad los servicios bibliotecarios, desde la perspectiva de los usuarios de la Universidad San Gregorio de Portoviejo, en el periodo 2017-2018. La metodología tiene un diseño cuantitativo de nivel descriptivo, se desarrolla un análisis documental para fundamentar el estado del arte, y se aplica el test estandarizado LibQual a una muestra significativa de los usuarios de la biblioteca universitaria, para la recolección y análisis de los datos se siguen los lineamientos del modelo LibQual. Los resultados permiten diagnosticar el nivel de satisfacción de los usuarios sobre los servicios que ofrece la biblioteca, además de proponer estrategias para mejorar la calidad del servicio. es
dc.description.abstract The objective of the research is to evaluate the quality of library services, from the perspective of users of the San Gregorio de Portoviejo University, in the period 2017-2018. The methodology has a quantitative design of descriptive level, a documentary analysis is developed to support the state of the art, and the standardized LibQual test is applied to a significant sample of the users of the university library, for the collection and analysis of the data. follow the guidelines of the LibQual model. The results allow to diagnose the level of satisfaction of users about the services offered by the library, as well as to propose strategies to improve the quality of the service. en
