REALIDAD PSICOSEXUAL DE LOS ESTUDIANTES CON DIVERSIDAD FUNCINAL DE LA UNIVERSIDAD TÉCNICA DE MANABÍ

Abstract

The study was based on investigating the different aspects of sexuality in people with functional diversity, a literature review was made on the myths that surround the figure of people with functional diversity in relation to sexuality. Taking this into account, a mixed investigation was carried out based on the quantitative elaboration of a Likert-type survey that was constructed based on the bibliographic review of the myths and then it was proceeded to describe the results as obtained; on the other hand a qualitative study was made by performing a narrative analysis of the interviews conducted through a self-selective sample. All the data were triangulated to make the conclusions among which can be highlighted, the importance of personality, social conditions, age, gender and the bond as conditions to understand psychosexual phenomena.
