Abstract

This research was carried out in the province of Manabí canton Portoviejo in the Technical University of Manabí, in the form of community work, the main objective of this community work was the implementation of non-virtual library material at the Faculty of veterinary science of the Technical University of Manabí to optimize the process of teaching and learning for teachers and students. This research is no experimental and analytic, descriptive, research by means of which the State in which it was the bibliographical material in the library of the Faculty of veterinary science of the Technical University of Manabí, for the reasons previously cited participants in this work after researching the curriculum it was found and with the rules of the syllabi decides to upgrade the bibliographical material by means of grants for the acquisition of books calling for sponsorship at the Technical University of Manabí, with the support of the authorities and in consultation with the teachers acquired books to update and provide bibliographic material base and support for teachers and students; being part of the norm that there is a book basis for the teacher and a book for every ten students for consultation, which acquired an average three books for each subject of basic professional training of veterinary medicine career by 2013, reaching complete twenty-one subjects that were assigned to us.
