Abstract

The main objective of this research project is to establish whether there is any relationship between the consumption of narcotic drugs such as cannabis and the alterations in the behaviors of those dependent on this substance. Although it is true that the behavior in some cases is conditioned by the cultural, social and ethnographic context, we seek to have an approach within the area of cannabis dependence linked to the behavior of individuals who consume it, in order to corroborate from the theoretical and bibliographic section if some of the criteria related to the consumption of psychotropic substances and their behavior are met. We took into consideration the population of a therapeutic community by implementing a mixed approach qualitative-quantitative, conducting field research, descriptive, explanatory and bibliographic elements that have allowed the development of this research, within the collection of data was made using techniques such as observation and semi-structured interviews, the pair of the implementation of the personality test Millon Clinical Multiaxial Inventory – II.
