EVALUACIÓN Y ANÁLISIS ESTRUCTURAL Y ECONÓMICO DE LA CONSTRUCCIÓN DEL EDIFICIO DE LA BIBLIOTECA GENERAL DE LA UNIVERSIDAD TÉCNICA DE MANABÍ COMPARADO CON LOS CÓDIGOS NEC 2011 (NORMA ECUATORIANA DE LA CONSTRUCCION) Y EL CÓDIGO MEXICANO DE LA CONSTRUCCION

Abstract

The " Comparison of the structural design of the Library of the Technical University of Manabi between NEC 2011 and the RCDF-2008 contributed to the building " was developed in order to provide the necessary construction documents relating to the structural part of the building , taking into account the need to ensure safety and quality in the designed structure .

The General Library structure was analyzed with the aid of SAP2000 program, based on the design criteria and recommendations contained in seismic resistant design codes .

This paper is structured as introducing important parts which details the project in general and describes some basic concepts for the development of this work, materials and methods in which you specify the process followed for the structural design of General Library , results which detail drawings for all structural elements , and parameters used for seismic analysis and finally conclusions and recommendation.
