PERCEPCIÓN DE LA ATENCIÓN DE ENFERMERÍA DE USUARIOS HOSPITALIZADOS. HOSPITALIZACIÓN DE CLÍNICA. HOSPITAL DE ESPECIALIDADES DE PORTOVIEJO

Abstract

Perception is the cognitive process of consciousness that consists of the recognition, interpretation and significance that elaborate judgments of the environment according to the sensations obtained from the physical and social environment. In this sense, nursing provides care through the nursing care process, playing a significant role in the following areas generating an impact on the user's experience and perception. This research is a descriptive, cross-sectional and retrospective study with the objective of evaluating the perception of nursing care among hospitalized users in the clinical area in the Hospital de Especialidades of Portoviejo. A sample of 102 users was obtained from a total population of 138. A questionnaire was applied to obtain sociodemographic information and the CARE-Q satisfaction instrument validated by Patricia Larson. Results showed that 30.43% of users are in the 46 to 55 age group, the male gender predominated with 67.65%, 89.22% were of urban origin and 33.33% had completed high school. It was concluded that the perception of the users shows a low level of satisfaction, mainly among male users, young adults, from urban areas and with a high school education.
