Metodologia para el diseno de una red de drenaje aplicada en el centro de investigacion de ciencias agropecuarias de la universidad tecnica de manabi en el periodo 2014-2015

Abstract

This thesis fulfills the purpose of designing a rainwater evacuation system, taking into account the topography and morphology of the sector. The objective of this thesis not only focuses on the evacuation of rainwater but also entails the protection of the research center of the faculty of agricultural sciences of the technical university of Manabi, whose headquarters is located in the Lodana parish of the Santa Ana canton. from the province of manabi. The methodology for this type of design is based on knowledge about hydraulics, hydrology and civil engineering sciences, taking into consideration the participation of authors of texts specialized in the subject. In addition to the texts on hydraulic design, the considerations given by the design standards for this type of civil works are taken. In our country, the standard to be considered is the Ecuadorian code for the design of the construction of sanitary works. In addition to the basic design parameters such as flow velocity, the slope of the pipe or channel section, and of course the diameter of the pipe and area of ​​the channel section through which to transport the fluid. A methodology is proposed for the design of a drainage network as a guide for other designs and their subsequent construction, where the knowledge received by the author in his professional preparation has been applied.
