Propuesta de un plan de prevención de seguridad, salud y bienestar de los trabajadores en la planta potabilizadora de agua del sitio Valdez, EPAPAR

Abstract

This work focuses on the development of a plan for the prevention of safety, health and well-being of workers in the water purification plant of the Valdez site, EPAPAR, in order to provide a useful tool to identify and prevent occupational risks associated with the different operations that are usually carried out in the treatment plant; as well as describe the measures that must be implemented for its prevention. The existing occupational risks in the area of production of drinking water and sewerage of the company are analyzed through the IPER matrix in study to the 11 workers who work in the plant with support in article 434 of the labor code and Executive Decree 2393 for their performance, the results obtained determine in a real way, that there are potential physical, mechanical, chemical and biological risks, its scope allowed the elaboration of the prevention proposal of the Industrial Safety and Hygiene Plan. The implementation of this proposal contributes to the well-being of the staff, thus improving their safety and physical integrity at work; the company through its application will comply with the requirements requested by the IESS and the Ministry of Labor Relations, as regulatory entities. The law requires the updating of this proposal every two years, with the aim of improving the development of workers and thus reducing the possible risks of work.
